Brazilian eVTOL developer Eve Air Mobility has partnered with Flexjet to test and simulate Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) system for eVTOL operations.

The simulation took place over four days in November 2023 at Flexjet’s Tactical Control Centre at Farnborough Airport. At the demonstration, the software shadowed live helicopter flights under Flexjet’s fleet.

Eve stated another aim of the project was to investigate whether the services were accustomed to helicopter operations.

According to Flexjet, they aim to play an “integral role” in creating a reliable urban air mobility system.

Its sister company Halo will partner with Eve and will work together with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Federal Aviation Administration to advance an international eVTOL partnership.

This agreement follows previous expansions in vertiport operations which included Eve’s first Urban Air Traffic Management agreement in Dubai.
