The Garrett CS 5000 walk-through metal detector is economical and highly popular. It features a digital signal processor (DSP) designed to automatically suppress or eliminate electrical interference associated with X-ray devices, video monitors and communications equipment, helping to reduce the likelihood of nuisance alarms and improve traffic throughput. The CS 5000 is portable and can be operated by a remote console or battery pack as required.
